Osowiec-Twierdza

Osowiec - Twierdza is a village in the rural commune ( gmina wiejska ) Goniądz in powiat Moniecki in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland. The town lies on the River Biebrza. In the years 1743 - 1827 Osowiec had as Marcinpol city law.

Osowiec - Twierdza is located about 5 km from the Goniądz, 12 km from Monki and about 42 km to Białystok. In the podlachischen level in the river valley of the Biebrza. Its area is part of the nature reserve, located in the Biebrza National Park.
