Ossi-Petteri Grönholm

Ossi - Petteri Grönholm ( born September 17, 1981 in Kotka ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since 2011 in Hämeenlinna HPK in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Ossi - Petteri Grönholm started his career as a hockey player with the Pelicans Lahti, for whom he played from 2001 to 2004 a total of three years in the SM- liiga. Then the defender moved to their league rivals Jokerit Lappeenranta, for which he was active until 2008. In his last season with Jokerit he stood also for the Frölunda HC in the Swedish Elitserien on the ice. Before the season 2008/ 09 Grönholm finally got a contract with the reigning Finnish champions Kärpät Oulu, with whom he took part in the group stage of the Champions Hockey League, in which the defender three times was used and with whom he in the 2008 /09 season runner Master was.

After one and a half years left Grönholm Kärpät Oulu and joined in January 2010, the Brynäs IF of the Elitserien to. The 2010/11 season he spent with the Malmö Redhawks of the HockeyAllsvenskan, the Swedish second division. For the 2011/12 season he was engaged by HPK Hämeenlinna from the SM- liiga.
