The Osterau is a source stream of Broklandsau in Dithmarschen in Schleswig -Holstein.

The river has a length of about 7 km. The Osterau rises in the district forestry Welmbüttel to the old ponds near the highest elevation Norder Dithmarschens the " Rugebarg " with 72 m above sea level. NN.
