Österfärnebo

Österfärnebo is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Gävleborg and the historic province Gastrikland. It is located 38 km south of Sandviken Dalälven River and is a member of Sandviken.

Österfärnebo is an old village church for the surrounding countryside. From Österfärnebo a headland extends into the Dalalven at the southern tip of the largest prehistoric grave field Gästriklands occupies about 185 stone circles from the early 5th century. Also south of Österfärnebo the National Park is Färnebofjärden.
