Otopeni

Otopeni is a town in Romanian Ilfov County. It is located a few kilometers north of Bucharest along the road to Ploieşti. It has 10,215 inhabitants, of whom 99% are Romanians.

The city was known especially by the Bucharest Otopeni Airport.

Policy

The Mayor of Otopeni is Constantin Silviu Gheorghe of the National Liberal Party, PNL. The city council of Otopeni, which was elected in 2012, is composed of 17 members, which have the following party affiliation:
