Otto IV, Duke of Lower Bavaria

Otto IV (* January 3, 1307, † December 14, 1334 in Munich) was from 1310 to 1334 Duke of Lower Bavaria.

Otto was the son of Stephen I. He ruled jointly with his brother Heinrich XIV ( II ) and his cousin Heinrich XV. ( III.) the part of the Duchy of Lower Bavaria. In 1330 he married Richarda of Jülich. 1322 he went to war against the other Dukes of Lower Bavaria.

As in 1331, the territory was divided between the regent, he was awarded the Bavarian Burghausen said part duchy, which also Ötting, Traunstein, Hall and Salzburg included, in addition Burghausen.
