P.C. Hooftstraat

The P. C. Hooftstraat in the Oud-Zuid district in Amsterdam is one of the most expensive shopping streets of Amsterdam. It is named by Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft, a Dutch poet.

It is home to more elegant stores with luxury designer goods, perfume, jewelry, art and antiques than any other street in the Dutch capital. International fashion brands such as Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès, Chanel and many more have settled on this street its branches.
