Paddy Considine

Patrick George " Paddy " Considine ( born September 5, 1973 in Burton -upon -Trent, Staffordshire ) is a British film actor.

Life and career

Considine grew up with five siblings in Burton- upon- Trent, Staffordshire, on. After school he completed a college course for the Performing Arts at Burton College, where he met Shane Meadows. With him, he formed the band She talks to angels, in Considine was a drummer. Even before he had finished his art course, Considine started a photography course at Brighton University. There he received an honorary degree first class.

After he finished his studies and worked with Meadows on a short film, Considine took over in 1999 his first film role.

With the 16- minute short film Dog Altogether he presented his directorial debut. At the International Film Festival in Venice in 2007 he was awarded the Silver Lion for Best Short Film. His feature film debut Tyrannosaur - A Love Story (2011) brought him, among other things, a British Independent Film Award and the Best Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival.

Considine is married and has a son.
