Padre Iceland is an island off the coast of Texas. It is the world's longest sand dune island. The island was named after Padre José Nicolás Balli (177? -1829 ), Who founded the first mission in Cameron County.

Padre Iceland is about 210 kilometers long and extends from Corpus Christi in the north to South Padre Iceland to the south. From the mainland it is separated by the Laguna Madre. By road it is connected to the north with the Mustang Iceland. In the south of the Queen Isabella Causeway (Texas State Route 100) connects Port Isabel on the mainland. Between the southern tip of the island and the south followed by much smaller peninsula Brazos Iceland is the Brazos Santiago Pass.

The island is sparsely populated. To the south lie the towns South Padre Iceland and Port Isabel. In the central part of Iceland Padre National Seashore is located. Since 1964, the island is divided into two parts. The artificial channel Port Mansfield Channel separates the island in the North Padre Iceland and the South Padre Iceland.
