Palomar 1

Palomar 1 is a globular cluster in the constellation Cepheus in the outer region of the Milky Way. He was discovered by the astronomer George Abell Ogden in the recordings of the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey in 1954, and cataloged as a globular cluster. With an age 6.3 to 8 billion years, he is younger than other globular clusters of the Milky Way. The globular cluster has a high metallicity with [Fe / H] = -0.60. It is believed that Palomar 1 has a similar history as globular clusters of the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy, so for example, Terzan 7, and he also comes from this and she was torn by tidal forces.
