Papakouli Diop

Papa Kouli Diop ( born March 19, 1986 in Kaolack ) is a Senegalese footballer who plays in the Spanish La Liga Levante UD.

Playing career

Papa Kouli Diop began his career as a football player at the French first division side Stade Rennes. There he played in the youth as early as 2004 to 2006. His first game he played Prof on Matchday 1 of the 2006/2007 season at 1:2 Rennes, opposite the OSC Lille. Nevertheless, he left the club and went to the second division FC Tours. There he could not prevail, so he signed a contract with Spanish second division club Gimnàstic de Tarragona in January 2008. His first game for the Catalans, he played 24 February 2008 in a 1-1 draw at Deportivo Poli Ejido.
