Paprika (Japaneseパプリカ, Papurika ) is an anime film from 2006, based on Yasutaka Tsutsui 's novel. Satoshi Kon directed the science fiction film and co-wrote with Seishi Minakami also wrote the screenplay. The cut was made by Takeshi Seyama. Madhouse was responsible for the animation and Sony Pictures Entertainment produced and distributed the film.
Paprika is about a psychotherapist who is involved in the development of a novel device that enables the accurate study of dreams. The device is stolen and misused, which mix reality and dream.
Action
In a near future of overweight Kosaku Tokita has developed a revolutionary psychotherapeutic treatment. This is called DC Mini and is a device that allows the therapist, the dreams of the patient record as a film and analyze it. Formation
Satoshi Kon had already in 1998, after he had completed his film Perfect Blue to film the idea of the novel.
