Paprzyce

Paprzyce ( German Papritzfelde ) is a village in the northwest of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Damnica ( Hebrondamnitz ) in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp ).

Geographical location

Paprzyce located eleven kilometers east of the county town of Slupsk ( Stolp ) to a link road between Wielogłowy ( Vilgelow ) and Karżniczka ( German Karstnitz ). For the Polish national road 6 ( former German Reich Straße 2, now also European Route 28) is a direct one kilometer in length connection. Rail connection is via the six kilometers away Damnica ( Hebrondamnitz ) on the railway line from Stargard to Gdansk.

Place name

Was named the place after the secret Oberfinanzrat Pappritz.

History

In Papritzfelde a sheep farm was in 1780, and also eight Büdner were here from the war and domain chamber located. August Neitzke, who since 1873 Warbelow (Polish today: Warblewo ) resident, bought the estate and took his residence here. 1910 belonged to Gutsbezirk total of 88 inhabitants.

In 1910 the estate was in the division of an estate to daughter Margaret of Duisburg and then went over to her son Ernst, who was the last owner to Papritzfelde to 1945. The farm had an area of ​​250 hectares, of which 329 were acres of farmland. Furthermore, rural property did not exist here.

Before 1945 Papritzfelde was a town in the municipality Vilgelow ( Wielogłowy ) and was in the official and the civil registry district Ludwig Lust ( Sąborze ) incorporated. The village belonged to the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania.

Soviet troops took Papritzfelde one in March 1945. As a result of the Second World War, the city came to Poland. Papritzfelde was renamed Paprzyce and is now a village of Gmina Damnica in powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Slupsk voivodship ). Paprzyce is the district ( " sołectwo " ) Sąborze ( Ludwig Lust) attached and is now 97 residents.

Church

Before 1945 Papritzfelde belonged to the evangelical parish Sageritz (now Polish: Zagórzyca ) in the church Stolp -Altstadt Ostsprengel in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union.

Since 1945 lives a predominantly Catholic population in Paprzyce. The reference to the parish seat has remained: the parish Zagórzyca ( Sageritz ), but now the dean's office Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland. School

The Papritzfelder children attended the school before 1945 in Sageritz ( Zagórzyca ).
