Papyrus 57

Papyrus 57 ( Gregory- Aland 57 denotes Sigel ) is a Greek copy of the New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript of the Book of Acts contains only the verses 4,36-5,2.8-10. Using palaeography, it was dated to the 4th or 5th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category II.

The manuscript is currently in the Austrian National Library (Pap. Vindob. G. 26020 ) held in Vienna.
