Papyrus 6
Papyrus 6 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering 6) is an early manuscript of the New Testament in Greek and Coptic ( achmimisch ). It is a papyrus manuscript of the Gospel of John. With palaeography, it has been dated to the 4th century.
Content
The Greek text of the manuscript contains: Gospel according to John 10:1-2.4-7. 9-10; 11:1-8. 45-52.
The Coptic ( achmimische ) text of the code includes: John 10:1-12.20; 13:1-2.11-12; Jas 1:13 to 5:20.
The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category II.
It is currently ( copt Pap. 379 381 382 384 ) in the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire kept in Strasbourg.
