Parrish Peak

Parrish Peak is a very sharp, partially covered with snow peaks of the Enterprise Hills in the West Antarctic Heritage Range. The 1775 m high mountain located in the southeastern part of the mountain group. From Parrish peak of a long ridge about 3 miles to West Southwest extends from Horseshoe Valley, located at the end of Strong Peak.

Parrish peak was mapped by United States Geological Survey as part of the compilation of Ellsworthgebirges in the years 1961-66 by site surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy. Was named the Summit of Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names by Edward N. Parrish, a glaciologist who in the Antarctic winters 1964-65 and 1965-66 as a member of the United States Antarctic Research Program at two South Pole - Queen Maud Land crossings participated.
