Pascal Berenguer

Pascal Berenguer (born 20 May 1981 in Marseille ) is a French football player. Currently, since 2003 playing in central midfield right footed already plays for the French first division club AS Nancy.

Career

His football education had Berenguer in the youth teams of the SC Bastia. In 1999 he was appointed under coach Frédéric Antonetti in the first team, which at that time in Ligue 1, the top division in France, played. There he completed in the next two years one game.

For the 2001/02 season he was loaned to FC Istres in Ligue 2. By 2003, he graduated from here 61 games in which he scored 5 goals. During this time he also conceded so far most yellow cards in one season of his career when he was in 27 games ( 2 goals) conceding 2001/ 02 whole nine yellow cards.

For the season 2003/ 04 he moved to his contract expired at Bastia free transfer to AS Nancy. Again he sat down by a regular player. 2005, the club was promoted to Ligue 1 in 2006 won Berenguer with the AS the French League Cup. Pascal Berenguer has at AS Nancy a valid contract until 2013.

Berenguer took with French youth teams several times in international competitions. In 1998 he was with the U-18 European champion selection, a year later he was in the French squad at the Junior World Championships in Argentina.
