Patrick DeMeyer

Patrick DeMeyer is a Belgian musician, composer and music producer. DeMeyer was the beginning of the 1990s, known under the pseudonym Tragic Error. In the following years he composed and produced tracks for Technotronic, T99, Daisy Dee and 2 Unlimited. DeMeyer applicable in the Belgian techno scene as a pioneer.

Life and work

The project Tragic Error and titled Dancing DeMeyer started his career. The project is considered a milestone of the New Beat. With the formation T99 he scored the # 14 position in the UK singles chart with the title in 1990. The greatest success of his activity was the title Pump Up The Jam Technotronic the group. The title was awarded with the triple platinum award and finished in second place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The title sold about 3.5 million times.

With Daisy Dee DeMeyer could achieve success in Holland and in the German-speaking and Crazy Pump It All the Way Up. For the group 2 Unlimited DeMeyer wrote the title Twilight Zone. The title sold internationally excellent. In the UK, the title reached the second place, in the twentieth Germany, Switzerland, the fifteenth, in Austria and the tenth in Spain in third place.
