Patrick Ebert ( born March 17, 1987 in Potsdam ), Spain also known as Ebi, is a German footballer who is currently at Spartak Moscow under contract.

Association

The midfielder started at TuS Gaarden playing football. About the TSV Russee he moved in 1998 to Hertha BSC. From the season 2006/ 07 he stood there in the senior squad. His competitive debut was Ebert on July 16, 2006 at the UEFA Intertoto Cup against FK Moscow, when he came on in the 80th minute. His first try in the Bundesliga he played on 13 August 2006 against VfL Wolfsburg on Matchday ( against Hannover 96), he scored his first Bundesliga goal. On 24 October 2007 Ebert extended his end of the season expiring contract with Hertha BSC until 30 June 2012.

After the end of the 2011/12 season new coach Jos Luhukay was not planning more with Ebert in the new season. He then moved into the summer break in 2012 to Real Valladolid. He signed a contract until 2014 and was given the shirt number 20 on his jersey stands, leaning on his nickname, " Ebi " as a player name. On August 20, 2012, he played in the 1-0 victory against Real Zaragoza for the first time for his new club. He was substituted after 87 minutes. On February 7, 2014 Ebert announced his contract and moved to Spartak Moscow.

National

Ebert played from 2007 to 2009 13 caps for the German U-21 national team and scored one goal; In 2009 he won the U-21 European Championship with the team. He went through all the youth teams from the U-17 by the DFB.

Personal

Because of damage to property - along with Kevin -Prince Boateng, he is on 18 March 2009 a total of 13 vehicles have damaged in the Berlin district of Wilmersdorf - Ebert was sentenced in January 2010 to a fine of 56,000 euros. Unlike Boateng he accepted the verdict immediately.
