Patrick McDonnell

Patrick McDonnell ( born March 17, 1956) is an American comic book artist.

McDonnell began his career freelancing, including as an illustrator for the New York Times by 1978 to 1993. Moreover, published many magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Reader 's Digest, Forbes Magazine or Time his illustrations. He drew the monthly comic strip Bad Baby for Parents magazine. 1994 began the publication of the comic strip Mutts. In the antropophorphen stories act as the lead two pets: Mooch the cat and Earl the dog.

McDonnell and his wife live in Edison (New Jersey) with her dog Peanut and her cat MeeMow. The Jack Russell Terrier Earl, who served for 18 years as an inspiration for the eponymous Mutts character died, 2007.
