Patrick " Pat" Powers ( born February 13, 1958 in Los Angeles, California ) is a former American professional volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career

Pat Powers in 1978 was a member of the U.S. junior national team and play in 1979 in the " Pan-American Team". With the " Trojans ", the team of the University of Southern California, it was 1980 NCAA champion. As Diagonal player, he was on the side of Karch Kiraly, Steve Timmons and Craig Buck 1984 Olympic champion in Los Angeles, 1985 World Cup winner in Japan and 1986 world champion in France.

From 1986 to 1990 Steve Timmons played in addition successful beach volleyball on the U.S. AVP Tour. With his teammates from the national team Karch Kiraly, he was the unofficial world champion in 1988 in Rio de Janeiro.

After his playing career was Pat Powers from 1997 to 2001 Head Coach of the " Trojans " from the University of Southern California. Today he runs a volleyball camp in the United States.

Pat Powers is married and has two daughters.
