Patrik Baumann

Patrik Baumann (born 29 July 1986) is a Swiss footballer, who was most recently from 2010 to 2012 at Servette FC Genève under contract. He is a skilled midfielder who now plays but more often than right-back or center-back.

Baumann began his career at FC Amicitia Riehen. After that he played for the youth teams from FC Concordia Basel and FC Basel, with whom he won the 2004 U18 Championship. From 2005 he played for the second team of FC Basel and a year later he was promoted to the senior squad. There he won in the 2006/07 season the Swiss Cup, but came in only one and a half years to two stakes and moved in January 2008 on loan to FC Concordia Basel, who played in the Challenge League. After playing at the beginning of the 2009/ 10 first with FC Solothurn in third-rate first league, he signed in January 2010, a contract with SC Kriens, with whom he played again in the Challenge League. For the season 2010/11 he moved to Genève Servette FC. At the beginning of the season 2011/12 he moved to a torn ACL. In Geneva, his contract expired on 30 June 2012.

In the years 2007 and 2008, Baumann graduated two games for the Swiss U21 national team.
