Patsy Kensit

Patricia Jew Frances Kensit ( born March 4, 1968 in Hounslow, London) is a British actress and musician.

Life and career

Patsy's mother was a journalist and her father career criminal. He was a member of the London band of the Kray twins. Even before Patsy's birth, he went to a prison sentence. My paternal grandfather was a robber and counterfeiter known. Kensit had already stood as a four- year-old's first time on camera for a commercial. After her film debut as a six- year-old in 1974 at the site of Mia Farrow in The Great Gatsby was born in 1986 her breakthrough as an actress in the role of Crepe Suzette in Absolute Beginners - Young heroes. In this film, she sang the self-composed song Having It All, with whom she briefly landed a hit in England. She learned later at the Corona Theatre School.

Through her brother Kensit in 1983 with 14 years lead singer of Spice, who called themselves since 1985 Eighth Wonder. Eighth Wonder produced three successful hits ( Stay with me, I'm not scared and Cross My Heart ). Together with Eros Ramazzotti she took in 1987 on its album In certi momenti published duet La luce buona delle stelle on. Eighth Wonder broke up in 1989.

Kensit has married four times; all four husbands were or are still musicians. In 1988, she married Dan Donovan of band Big Audio Dynamite, 1992 Jim Kerr, lead singer of Simple Minds. During this marriage, their first son, James, was born. In 1997 she married Liam Gallagher from Oasis. Kensit and Gallagher have together also a son, Lennon, named after John Lennon. They were divorced in 2000. On April 18, 2009, she married the former singer Jeremy Healy of the band Haysi Fantayzee from which they lived separately for 2010.
