Paul Davison

Paul S. Davison ( born October 1, 1970 in Pickering ) is an English snooker player.

Career

Davison 1992 professional, his highest position in the Snooker world rankings was at first place 127 before he had to leave the tour again in 1999. As early as 2001 he qualified but again for the snooker main tour, but was again not establish long term,. Instead, followed almost a year of change between dropping out and immediate re- qualification for the professional tour.

The 2010/11 season was his most successful up to that point; the first time he reached at the Welsh Open 2011, the last qualifying round of a full-fledged world ranking tournament and the PTC tournament in Hamm the quarterfinals. About the prize money ranking of PTC tour, he also managed to remain on the professional tour, at the end of the season ranked number 78 was to book.

During the season 2011/12 Davison was then for the first time in a full ranking tournament ( the German Masters 2012 ) reach the finals after he got over all three necessary qualifying rounds. Nevertheless, it was not enough at the end of the season to remain on the main tour. However, he was able to qualify as a winner of his group for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 season at the second tournament of the Q School in 2012.
