Paul Evans Aidoo

Paul Evans Aidoo (* August 4, 1958 in Sefwi - Ewiase, Western Region in Ghana) is a Ghanaian politician ( NDC). He is a 2005 member of the Parliament of Ghana for the constituency Sefwi - Wiawso and since January 2009, Regional Minister of the Western Region in the Government Atta Mills since January.

Aidoo visited 1977-1981 the Enchi Teacher Training College ( " A-level "); In 1980 he was the General Certificate of Education ( " O- Level "). From 1981 he worked as a teacher, in 1985 he began his work at the National Mobilization programs as District Liaison Officer. Between 1997 and 2001 he worked in the government Rawlings as a district administrator in the Ministry of Local Government. Aidoo conducted between 2002 and 2004 the Ghana Education Service.

In the parliamentary elections of 2004 and 2008 Aidoo won the constituency Sefwi - Wiawso each with an absolute majority and moved so as a deputy to the Ghanaian Parliament.

Aidoo is a Catholic Christian; He speaks English and Twi, is married and has five children.

In July 2011, Aidoo caused increased media interest in his person: he dismissed the security agencies in Ghana to arrest all homosexuals in the country; Christian organizations supported him in this claim.
