Paul Sanchez (bishop)

Paul Robert Sanchez ( * November 26, 1946 in Brooklyn ) is Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn.

Life

The rector of the Pontifical North American College, James Aloysius Hickey, ordained him a priest on 17 December 1971.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 2 May 2012 as the Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn and Titular Bishop of Coeliana. The Bishop of Brooklyn, Nicholas DiMarzio Anthony, donated it along with Raymond Chappetto on 11 July of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Brooklyn Octavio Cisneros and Frank Joseph Caggiano.
