Paul Trimboli

Paolo "Paul" Vincenzo Trimboli ( born February 25, 1969 in Melbourne ) is a former Australian football player of Italian origin, who acted in the position of striker. He spent almost his entire career at South Melbourne FC.

Career

Club career

Trimboli began his career at Brighton SC from Brighton, Victoria. Then he transferred to Xavier College and in 1986 to the Australian Institute of Sport. In 1987, he transferred to Sunshine George Cross. The Georgies he came in 22 games on four hits. Only a year later Trimboli transferred to South Melbourne FC in the top division at the time of Australia, the National Soccer League. Career as a football commentator

After his active career as a football player Trimboli launched a career as a football commentator. In 2006 he was commentator for the sports channel SEN 1116 for which he commented games, the A- League and the Victorian Premier League. Furthermore Trimboli is advertising Puma AG. He also want to start any coaching career, but rather to focus on other opportunities announced. Currently, Trimboli sports commentator for Australian TV channel Fox Sports.
