2000 FIFA Club World Championship
The FIFA Club World Championship 2000 (English: FIFA Club World Championship 2000) was the first to host a world-wide football competition for club teams and was held from January 5 to 14 held in Brazil.

There were a total of eight teams from the six continental regions of the FIFA Asia, Africa, CONCACAF, South America, Europe, and Oceania at the start, with Europe and South America, two representatives each set, the four teams competed in a round robin tournament with two groups against each other. The runners qualified for the third-place match and the group winners for the final.

The "Golden Ball" for the best player of the tournament went to the Brazilian Edílson. The "Silver Ball" went to his compatriot Edmundo and the " Bronze Ball" with Romario also to a Brazilian.

The " Golden Boot " for the top scorers went together to Frenchman Nicolas Anelka and Brazilian Romário for every three gates.
FIFA Fair Play Trophy
