Paula Prentiss
Paula Prentiss ( born March 4, 1938 in San Antonio, civil Paula Ragusa ) is an American actress.
Paula Prentiss was discovered while studying at Northwestern University and signed in 1958 Metro -Goldwyn -Mayer a contract. Together with Jim Hutton, she played from 1960 in several screwball comedies. Together with her husband Richard Benjamin, she starred in the TV series He & She, for which she received an Emmy nomination. Prentiss and Benjamin have been married since 1961.
In 1970, she starred in the parody Catch-22 - The evil trick; In the following years she played increasingly in serious movies, but still well in comedies. In the 1980s, the roles were small; after a long break from 1996 to 2005, she starred in Hard Four again on the big screen.
