Pavao Pavličić

Pavao Pavličić ( born August 16, 1946 in Vukovar ) is a Croatian writer, author, essayist, author, scriptwriter, translator, literary theorist and university professor. For a wider circle of readers, he is famous for his crime novels. He writes for both adults and children.

Life

Pavao Pavličić was born on July 16, 1946 in Vukovar. There he attended elementary school and high school. From 1965 to 1969 he studied comparative literature and Italian language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Since 1970 he works in the Department of Comparative Literature Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. He led the College " Comparative History of Croatian Literature" as well as " literary theory and metric ".
