Pavel Kostal ( [ pavɛl kɔʃʄa ˑ l]; born 17 September 1980 in Hradec Králové, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech footballer who is employed in central defense.

Career

Beginnings in the Czech Republic

His footballing career began born in Czechoslovak Hradec Králové Kostal at the age of seven years at Sokol Praskačka, a club from the suburb Královér Praskačka. In league play 2006/ 07 Kostal completed under its 29 inserts for Liberec, however, the title defense failed the club so that instead of fourth place was occupied, the only legitimate but repeated participation in the Intertoto Cup. In 2007 /08 it was not possible Liberec, to build on the previous services it provides, notwithstanding the intervening period coaching change of Lavička to Ladislav Škorpil nothing changed. After 25 missions Kostal finished with the club only the sixth.

2008/ 09 Kostal played another 28 times for Liberec in the Gambrinus league in which the club eventually finished in third place in the table. At season's end, he finally left not only Liberec, but moved from Czech Republic to Austria. Overall he had 129 league games for the club disputed.

About Austria to Germany

In summer 2009, Kostal signed for Bundesliga - promoted SC Wiener Neustadt a two -year contract. With the team trained first by Helmut Kraft and from Winter by Peter Schöttel played Kostal 2009/10 in 31 league games and finished the season in fifth place in the table. He also reached the final of the team OFB Cup 2010, which was, however, lost 0-1 against Sturm Graz. In league play 2010/11 Kostal then played another 29 times for Wiener Neustadt, before he left the club in the summer of 2011 in the direction of Germany.

By the end of May 2011 had Kostal a two-year contract with FC Hansa Rostock signed, in which he was in the plans of coach Peter Vollmann for the season 2011/12 German Bundesliga 2 as the designated service providers in defense. Also due to a stress fracture in his foot Vollmann but could only use it during the first round eight times in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the first two games of the season Wolfgang Wolf attacked, after the first round of the succession Vollmanns as manager of relegation-threatened FC Hansa took over, back to Košťáls services, but should this his last missions for Rostock remain: In January 2012, Kostal an operation had to undergo, which had become necessary due to complications during the healing of his broken foot, so that he in the remaining course of the season no longer was available. Return to the Czech Republic
