Pavel Vidanov

Pawel Widanow ( Pavel Vidanov written, Bulgarian Павел Виданов; born January 8, 1988 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian football player. He plays since the beginning of 2012 at Zagłębie Lubin in the Polish Ekstraklasa.

Career

Association

Widanow began his career at CSKA Sofia, where he was brought into the first team in 2006. In his first season he came up with two inserts. CSKA was runner-up. 2007/ 08 he played for one season on loan at Vihren Sandanski, with which he could reach tenth place. For the 2008/ 09 season he returned to Sofia and was again runner-up. 2009/10 he made his debut at European club level. In the 3rd round of the Europa League qualifier against Derry City on 30 July 2009 Widanow played through. The game was won 1-0. At the end of the championship CSKA was again second.

In the second half of 2010/11 Widanow was loaned to the Romanian club Rapid Bucharest, but could not prevail there. After his return to CSKA Sofia he completed 1 game in the Bulgarian league, before he was sold in early 2012 to the Polish first division Zagłębie Lubin.

National

Widanow played more four games for the Bulgarian national team. He made his debut on 12 August 2009 in the friendly match against Latvia, when he came on in the 73rd minute. The game was won 1-0.
