Pedro Cunha (volleyball)
Pedro Henrique de Miranda D' Araújo da Cunha ( born June 10, 1983 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player.
Career
Pedro Cunha won with three different partners in three consecutive years a medal at the U21 World Championships in beach volleyball. In 2001 he won with Anselmo Sigoli, he became Vice World Champion Adriano Fonseca and Pedro Salgado 2003 was his partner in the recent winning the title in 2002. In the same year Cunha played his first tournament of the FIVB World Tour with Tande Ramos in the capital of his home country. The two Brazilians were Seventeenth.
Partner of Cunha was the following year Rogério Ferreira. With him the athlete from Rio de Janeiro finished the tournament in second common Lianyungang third place and won the second- youngest athlete with 21 years and three days a FIVB tournament. At Carolina Beach, Puerto Rico, the Brazilians defeated in the finals of their compatriots Luizao Correa / Harley Marques. In the same season Fred Souza and Pedro Cunha won an FIVB Challenger & Satellite event in Lausanne.

2010
With Thiago Santos Barbosa Cunha reached at the first event of the year in Brasilia fourth place, it was also their best result of the season. In Rome, Stavanger, Gstaad and they finished fifth and in Prague they finished seventh. There were ninth places in Myslovice and Klagenfurt, also the two Brazilians Thirteenth in Shanghai and Twenty-fifth in Stare Jablonki were.
2011
In the first four events of the year Salgado and Cunha formed a Beachduo, best result was a fourth place in Prague.
