Tande

Alexandre Ramos Samuel called, Tande ( born March 20, 1970 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career Hall

At the age of twelve years began with the tandem volleyball at a school in Botafogo. Since 1988 he played in the Brazilian national team, with whom he won the gold medal in Barcelona at the 1992 Olympic Games. He was the winner in the World League in 1993. In the following Olympic Games he reached with the national team in Atlanta in 1996 to fifth place and sixth place in Sydney in 2000.

Career Beach

Along with his team-mate Giovane started Tande 1997 his Beach career. He was elected "King of the Beach" in 1999. Tande started on four beach volleyball World Championships, his best finish was a fifth place in Klagenfurt in 2001. On the side of Emanuel Tandes 2001 was the most successful year at the Beach. Emanuel / Tande were able to achieve six wins on the FIVB World Tour. After a less successful 2003 on the side of Pará and Cunha Tande reach 2004 and 2005 with Franco consistently top- ten finishes. His last FIVB tournament had Tande 2006, together with Benjamin in Vitória.

Private

Tande is married to Brazilian actress Lizandra Souto. They have two children.
