Benjamin Insfran
Benjamin Insfran ( born April 14, 1972 in Porto Murtinho Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player.
Career
In his first three tournaments of the FIVB World Tour Benjamin Insfran occupied each 33rd, 1997 with Toninho in Fortaleza and 1998 with Inglês " Guerra in Rio de Janeiro and Vitória. Besser ran it from 1999 with the new partner Márcio Araújo, the two won equal their first FIVB C & S tournament in Cagliari. this title was followed by 2004 seven hits in FIVB tournaments and winning the bronze medal at the 2003 World Championships in their home country in Rio de Janeiro. at the Olympic games 2004 in Athens reached the two Brazilians the second round, but lost there against Paul and Martin Laciga from Switzerland.
From 2005 to 2006 Benjamin played with Harley Marques. Her best result was winning the gold medal at the FIVB tournament in Montreal in 2005, also reached the two South American silver in Gstaad and Stavanger as well as bronze in Athens and Acapulco in the same year. 2006 Benjamin and Harley were not quite as successful, only two third places in Roseto degli Abruzzi and Stavanger were to book.
In the following years Insfran changed more frequently his partner, best placings were the first rank in the Challenger & Satellite tournament in Cyprus in 2007 with Bruno de Paula, and third place at the World Tour in Mallorca with Franco Neto 2008. During the same year won with Benjamin his former partner Harley competition in Sanya, achieved in 2009 Benjamin Insfran with Pedro Salgado first place in Stare Jabłonki.
2010
In the first tour event in the capital of their homeland Benjamin Insfran reached and his new partner Bruno Oscar Schmidt semi-final that they lost against the Olympic champions Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers. In the match for third place, the two Brazilians secured the bronze medal against their countrymen and Tiago Cunha. In China, Benjamin and Bruno occupied the fifth place, respectively Ninth they were at the following tournaments in Rome, Myslowice and Moscow. In Prague, the two South Americans failed to Alison and Emanuel and used in the final standings in fifth place. In Brasilia Benjamin and Bruno occupied the seventh place. Ninth were the Brazilians. Both tournaments in Beijing and Gstaad and at the World Championships in Rome At the last joint event the two South Americans achieved their best result of the year. In Moscow they finished fifth. Then Bruno Oscar Schmidt returned to his former partner Joao Maciel, while Benjamin Insfran continued his career with reigning world champion Márcio Araújo Vice. The two Brazilians, who were also competed with each other several years ago, occupied ninth places in Stare Jablonki and Klagenfurt. In Åland they reached by defeating Klemperer / Koreng the semifinals. There they first defeated the reigning world champion Emanuel / Alison and in the final the current Olympic champion Rogers / Dalhausser and, secured their first joint gold medal of the season.

At the World Tour 2012 Benjamin Insfran played again with Bruno Oscar Schmidt.
