Peguy Luyindula Makanda ( born June 25, 1979 in Kinshasa, Zaire ) is a French footballer who is currently with the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer contract.

Career

Association

The striker began his career in 1997 with Chamois Niort in the French second division. After one season he moved to Ligue 1 for Racing Strasbourg, where he played the next three years. 2001, in his last season at Racing, he won the French Cup competition with the club. From 2001 to 2004 Luyindula played for Lyon and has been with the club three times champion of France. For eleven million euro moved Luyindula 2004 from Lyon to Marseille, but was borrowed after one season for one year at AJ Auxerre. For the 2006/07 season he was in the squad of OM again, but was again loaned for one year, this time to Spain Levante UD. In summer 2007, he moved to Paris SG. There he played until the end of 2012, came under coach Ancelotti but hardly the first team to use, rather, he joined the New York Red Bulls in March 2013.

National

With the French U- 21 team in 2002 he was Vice-European Champion. In 2004, he first played for the French national team. Luyindula measures 178 cm and Right.
