People's Voice Party

The Halkin Sesi Partisi (HAS, German Party of the People's Voice ) was until 2012 a religious- conservative political party in Turkey. The ideological orientation of the party was unknown and was not indicated or shown in many sources. The cause was likely that the party was not homogeneous enough to represent a fixed position.

In September 2012, the party broke up, the members went to the party chairman Numan Kurtulmuş the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP ) in.

History

The party was founded on 1 November 2010 in Ankara, on the initiative of the former chairman of the Saadet Partisi, Numan Kurtulmuş, of 235 members. 89 percent of the members had a university degree, including 23 professors, 29 lawyers, 26 engineers, 21 graduates, 17 educators, 12 managers and 10 so-called " doctors".

On November 28, 2010 exactly 28 days after the party's founding, there was the first major party congress in Ankara Atatürk Sports Hall. 12,000 people from home and abroad were present at the party conference. Among them were the deputy chairman Abdullah Aksu ACP, chairman of the Pakistani Islamic party Mohammed Ibrahim, Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Nebil Maruf, Georgia's Ambassador to Ankara Tariel Cebamiti and many more.
