Peppa Pig

Peppa Pig ( in the original English: Peppa Pig) is a British animated television series for children; Inventors and directors are Neville Astley and Mark Baker is produced, the series by Phil Davies, distributed by E1 Kids. To date, four seasons were broadcast in 180 countries. The first season of 52 episodes was first broadcast in May 2004 on Channel 5; The U.S. premiere took place in the Cartoon Network in August 2005.

Description

The eponymous main character Peppa Pig is a female pig that is how the other animals of the consignment represented humanized. The approximately 5 minutes long each consequences handle situations from everyday life of the child's viewers such as cycling, playground, flea market in kindergarten, bubbles, beach holiday.

After complaints that Peppa and her family were not strapped in the first two seasons in the car, Astley Baker Davies announced that the figures in all future episodes would wear seat belts and key scenes from the first two seasons would be post accordingly. The same goes for lack of bicycle helmets.

The Peppa Pig brand yielded Entertainment One ( eOne ) 2010 revenue of more than £ 200 million alone from the sale of merchandise products in the UK.

Ubisoft developed video game versions for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

In April 2011, the theme park Peppa Pig World opened at Ower in Hampshire.
