Per Krohg

Per Lasson Krohg ( born June 18, 1889 in Åsgårdstrand, † March 3, 1965 ) was a Norwegian artist. He was the son of the painter Christian Krohg Oda Krohg and the painter.

He created the large painting on the floor of the United Nations Security Council at the UN headquarters in New York City. He also worked as a book illustrator, eg for Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen.

In 1928, he portrayed Kiki of Montparnasse ( Nude Kiki, Kiki ).
