Peru men's national volleyball team

The Peruvian volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Peruvian player, the Federación Peruana de Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

In the only previous participation in a volleyball World Championship Peru 1960 occupied the 14th place.

Olympic games

Peru could never qualified for the Olympics.

South American Championship

In the first volleyball World Grand Prix 1951, the Peruvians third and fourth were five years later. After the third place in 1961 they deteriorated in the following year to seventh place. After they had become in 1971 and sixth in 1975 aft, they came in 1977 as host to the fourth and 1979 to sixth place. Similar results were also 1985-1991. According to the 1993 tournament missed the Peruvians reached positions five, four and eight. At the last South American Championship, they were seventh.

In the World Cup Peru has not yet been played.

World League

The World League was previously held without Peruvian participation.
