Peter A. Quinn

Peter Anthony Quinn ( born May 10, 1904 in New York City; † December 23, 1974 ) was an American lawyer and politician. Between 1945 and 1947 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Peter Anthony Quinn attended St. Brigid 's and St. Raymond 's School. He graduated in 1922 at the Manhattan Preparatory School, in 1926 from Manhattan College in New York City and in 1929 at the Faculty of Law at Fordham University in New York City. After receiving his license to practice law in 1931, he began practicing in New York City. Between 1936 and 1944 he sat in the New York State Assembly. Politically, he was a member of the Democratic Party.

In the congressional elections of 1944 for the 79th Congress Quinn was in the 26th electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he succeeded Hamilton Fish took up on January 4, 1945 III.
