Peter Hedblom

Peter Hedblom ( born January 20, 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer on the European Tour.

Career

He was professional golfer in 1988 and in 1990 joined the European Tour for the first time. On the second lined up Challenge Tour he recorded 1991, two tournament victories. From 1994 to 1997 Hedblom had his best seasons for the time being on the big tour and celebrated there at the 1996 Moroccan Open and his first tournament win. This was followed by lean years - in December 2001, he retired to a private Hockey even a broken leg and had to miss much of the 2002 season - before he in 2003, his best placing in the European Tour Order of Merit with a 35th could reach. Since then, he keeps constant by good results in the safe regions for onward keeping them on the tour. At the U.S. Open 2006, he came on the third day at the center of the golf public, as it on the third hole, a hole-in -one and two holes later an Eagle succeeded and he was represented longer time in the top field. Finally Hedblom finished a respectable 21th Place.

Peter Hedblom is one of the cheerful types on the tournament scene. He is married to his wife Anna since 1999 and has three children.
