Peter Lene ( born April 3, 1986 in Shelburne, Vermont) is an Austrian- American professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the Austrian first division club EC Graz 99ers since May 2010.

Career

Lene started his career with the Sioux City Musketeers in the United States Hockey League and then spent four years in the University of Vermont team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He had with him but did not reach the playoffs for the 2009/10 season in the ECHL team Ontario Reign, His first professional engagement. His first goal as a professional player, he scored 8 November 2009 in a 8-2 away win against the Bakersfield Condors. Overall, he brought it this season on 13 goals and ten assists.

In spring 2010, Lene, who also has Austrian citizenship was taken from the Graz 99ers under contract, for which he will wear in the Austrian Hockey League from the 2010/11 season.
