Peter Moran

Peter Antony Moran ( born April 13, 1935 in Glasgow ) is retired bishop of Aberdeen.

Life

Peter Antony Moran received on 19 March 1959, and was ordained priest incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Glasgow. Later, he was incardinated into the clergy of the diocese of Aberdeen. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 13 October 2003 as Bishop of Aberdeen.

The Archbishop of Glasgow, Mario Joseph Conti, donated to him on 1 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Michael George Bowen, Archbishop of Southwark, and Joseph Devine, Bishop of Motherwell.
