Peter Weber

Peter Weber ( born December 22, 1938 in Finsterwalde ) is a former German gymnast. His home club was the forward ASK Potsdam.

He won one bronze medal in the team all-around at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 1964 with the all-German team and at the Summer Olympics in 1968 in Mexico City with the crew of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The same rank he reached with the East German team in the team all-around at the World Gymnastics Championships 1966 in Dortmund.

At GDR championships he won three individual national titles in 1964 and 1967 at the gymnastics rings and floor exercise in 1965.

After his retirement, he was from 1971 to 1983 Gymnastics coach of the GDR.
