Petr Vampola

Petr Vampola ( born January 21, 1982 in Zdar nad Vltavou, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player standing since June 2013 at the White Tigers Liberec in the Czech Extraliga under contract.

Career

Petr Vampola began his career as a hockey player in the junior section of the HC Vsetín, for the first team, he made his debut in the Extraliga in the 2000 /01 season. In his rookie year, the center with his team at first Czech champion. For two games, he was also loaned to HC Šumperk from the sub-prime first league. In the years following the links Sagittarius had a regular place in the HC Vsetín, the playoffs of the 2002/03 season but spent the second division club HC Kladno, with whom he achieved promotion to the Extraliga.

During the season 2003/ 04 Vampola was committed by White Tigers Liberec, where he spent the next three years in the Extraliga. During the playoffs in the 2004/05 season he played, however, again in the first league, where he rose to the HC České Budějovice. Also in the middle of the season signed former youth international players in the 2006/07 season at HC Plzeň, where he went hunting for goals for three seasons. Then he received during the 2008/09 season the opportunity for Salavat Yulaev Ufa to play in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. For the Russians, he hit in 17 games once and prepared three more goals before.

For the following season, he returned to Plzeň, before he signed a contract with the KHL rookie HK Budiwelnik Kiev of the Ukrainian capital Kiev signed for the 2010/11 season. As this did not take up the game mode, Vampola moved instead to HC Traktor Chelyabinsk and played for this to January 2011 in the KHL. He then moved within the League for Avangard Omsk HK. End of May 2011 he was engaged by Timrå IK of the Elitserien, where the Czechs signed a contract for the 2011/12 season. In November of the same year, after 20 matches played and 17 points scorer, he asked for termination of the contract and moved to the National League A for Genève -Servette HC.

During the 2012/13 season he played for the Växjö Lakers of the Elitserien, before moving to Škoda Plzeň HC in January 2013. With his new club, he won another league title at the end of the season. After this success, he signed in June a three-year contract with the White Tigers Liberec.

Internationally

For Vampola Czech Republic took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2000, and the World Cup, 2010. In the 2010 World Cup in Germany he became world champion with his team.
