Philadelphia Wings

The Philadelphia Wings are a team of North American National Lacrosse League ( NLL ) and are based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The team belonged in 1987 to the founding members of the Eagle Pro Box Lacrosse League, the 1989 Major Indoor Lacrosse League 's name ( MILL ) received and converted into the NLL in 1998. The Wings are the only team that have lined up in the MILL / NLL history in all seasons.

Achievements

After the team was eliminated in his first two years in the semifinals of the playoffs, it was in 1989 to celebrate his first league title and repeat the success the following year. However, they missed the playoffs in 1991.

From 1992 to 1996, they were five times in a row in the final and could win the championship twice. 1998 MILL was converted into the NLL and the Philadelphia Wings won the inaugural played Champion 's Cup, which was awarded immediately as championship trophy.

No team in the MILL / NLL history has six league titles with as many as the Philadelphia Wings. There were three other finals.
