Philip Wiegratz

Philip Wiegratz (born 17 February 1993 in Magdeburg ) is a German actor.

Life and work

Philip Wiegratz was known for his role in the Hollywood film adaptation of children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Tim Burton, in which he represents the greedy Augustus Gloop. In an episode of the TV series Berndivent Wiegratz 2006 played the role of Frank Stone Jr.

In the first part of the miniseries The Wolves he played one of the lead roles. At the ceremony for the German Television Awards 2009, he was - along with five other young performers - awarded the prize worth 15,000 euros.

Philip Wiegratz was a student of Wolmirstedter school. In the school year 2009/2010 he attended college in Seattle in the United States.
