Philipp Hafner
Philipp Hafner ( born September 27, 1735 in Vienna, † July 30, 1764 ) was an Austrian writer and literary critic. Frequently Hafner used the pseudonyms K. fiddle-bow, and J. Wustio Phakipinpler.
Life
Hafner is considered the father of the Viennese popular play. His entire literary work applies the entertaining and popular theater. Hafner is here a link between the Baroque and Enlightenment.
At the age of 28 years Philipp Hafner died on 30 July 1764 in Vienna.
