Philipp, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg
Philipp Gottfried Alexander Prinz zu Hohenlohe -Langenburg ( born January 20, 1970 in Crailsheim ) is since 2004 head of the House Hohenlohe -Langenburg and calls since then in public Prince of Hohenlohe -Langenburg.
Biography
Philipp, Prince of Hohenlohe -Langenburg was born as the first son of Kraft zu Hohenlohe -Langenburg and his wife Charlotte Alexandra Princess of Croy. His father was the eldest son of Gottfried zu Hohenlohe -Langenburg and his wife Princess Margarita of Greece, the oldest sister Philip Mountbatten, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II Anne Mountbatten -Windsor is one of his godmothers.
He was a banker and economist trained and took over at the age of 34 years after the death of his father, the Langenburg possession. Together with his wife he founded the motto "Schloss Langenburg - experience Hohenlohe " in life in order to promote the revival of Langenburg Castle with its museums. In 2004, he called the annual Princely Garden Days at Schloss Langenburg to life, one of the largest private garden fairs.
On 24 June 2007 he was appointed Honorary Knights of St. John. Philipp, Prince of Hohenlohe -Langenburg is ranked 189 in the British throne.

Marriage and issue
Philipp, Prince of Hohenlohe -Langenburg married Saskia Li binder ( born January 15, 1973 in Munich) on September 6, 2003 in a civil ceremony in Langenburg and church on 13 September 2003 in Diessen. The couple has two sons and a daughter.
